Waking Reverie animatic 5.0
Lots of changes this time around.
I added some voices to the Doctor, Mom, and Dad characters (thanks to my MFA buddies, Andrew Klein, Holly Yoshimoto, and Neil "Fuckin" Miller) as well as the EKG beep, and cut the time of the intro in half. Although, everyone keeps telling me that it's still too long and I'm beginning to agree with them.
I also added a death scream to the cancer at the end. It may be a little over the top, but it will do for now.

Animatic number four, with new ending
Here is the latest version of my animatic (the fourth one, for those counting).
I included a new ending where instead of the cancer being sucked into the heart, he consumes the heart and is destroyed by it.

Out with the old, in with the new...
Well, a lot of changes are underway.
Sadly, I'm forced to cut the Captain Quasar sequence from my thesis due to time constraints. I realize that my ambition may have been a little large for this short; I tried to bite off more than I could chew.
But, that's how the ball bounces. Maybe in the future I'll make a "Waking Reverie: Director's Cut" where I'll include all of the original trials that my protagonist had to overcome but until then I must focus on the essence of the story.
Here is my third animatic (first with sound), still a work in progress.
